Broken Fuel Spray thingy?
I live in Ohio (Land of no E-check yay!) so I decided to start taking emission stuff off my car and turn it into a track car. It's an 87' N/A.
While trying to get to the EGR, I pulled off the Throttle body and Upper manifold while sealing everything off with tape and paper towels until block-off plates are made. Mean while, I was inspecting the upper manifold where the secondary injectors are and I found one of these things bent (Picture attached). I touched it and it fell out. The other one is still in.
If this thing is not present, will it affect performance at all?

Mazdatrix calls them air bleeds.
"Air bleeds are the little plastic diffusers that go in the hole under the injector. 84-88 non turbos use a one piece bleed, while 86-88 turbo and all 89-92 use a two piece bleed (Top & Bottom). These pieces almost always break when removed from the engine. "
