Broken Fuel Line
I've recently bought another 87 turbo II and am having some serious problems, it is hesitating real bad when the rpms are somewhere in the 3's, it is also detonating as it hesitates.
So I'm getting ready to just pull the engine and do a rebuild and find gas under the upper intake manifold, so I pull it off to find where the gas is coming from, a broken fuel line going from the primary to secondary fuel rail could this be causing all the problems listed above, I know I may still need to rebuild it but was just wondering if I also needed to check other parts as I go.
Also wether it is cold or hot it floods could this be a cause of the problem?

yeah the fuel line has a crack about 1/4 of an inch it was bad and whats worse is that the smell of fuel never made me sit back and think I thought it was just the smell from it flooding.
