Broken directional and cruise control levers

Has anybody had this problem? The levers themselves aren't broken, they function, but the plastic piece they're attached too has broken free and is pushed back into the surround. Is their a cheap way to fix this? What am I likely to see when I open it up?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Each of the switches are held in by 2 tiny screws. The plastic pieces on the cluster surround break and allow the switch body to move around. The fix would be a new surround piece.
