broke my steering colum clock

broke my steering colum clock

anyways i broke the clock in the steering colum had no horne and the turn signals would not tur off on there own
i temporarly replaced it with a non power steering unit

how will this affect my power steering

I am not sure if it is called a clock on our cars it is the rotating mechanism in the steering column that turns off the turn signals sends power to the horn and helps control the power steering at different speeds

i can imagine that the PS computer defaults to full power steering when it fails to get a signal from this, so you probably will lose the speed sensitive funciton

however, i dont think that this unit would control that

i am just talking out my ***
