broke my fan n belt and rescued the engine?

as some may have know i posted early saying my car was reving up really slow

on the way home tonight around 1am i decide to give the car a go...i mean ive ran threw a full tank of clean gas since bringing it out of winter storage and all

So i head to a deserted street in my area nice 4 lane road in the country with nothing nearby.

Go it three times end to end only getting up to 140 KILOMETERS per hour. This is really bad considering the lenght of it and the car doesnt seem to really want to budge over it

So after the third time i do the usual u turn and realize i have no powersteering. **** ohh well lets do it one more time not as hard but still push the car and i get the car up to 190 km/h....wow what a diffrence i guess lossing power steering might have been worth it lol

I get home pop the hood and find my accesory belt off. Ok so that why i dont have powersteering.....look a little more and find one of the three blades from my fan that have broken off. WTF? can anyone explain wut the hell happened?

hehe, i broke the fan blades off my mazda MPV once. I was abusing that thing. Floored it from a stop sign... then i hear crack. car started running funny. I stop and found out i lost a few blades of the fan. Maybe the high revving with the fan clutch engaged along with the age of the fan... i dunno

Similar thing happened to me on my 89 N/A. The AC belt snapped and started tring to saw the fan blades off. Fortunately, the belt shreaded completely before it made any major damage. I guess this is more common than we all think it is.

No. Your accessories won't draw that much power. Unless they are seized up or such.

Most likely what happened was something prevented the belt from moving freely. Check the accessories & such - I'm betting one's not turning. The belt rubbing is what drew so much power. Finally, it snapped off, and probably ripped up the still turning fan.
