my engine feels weak. i want to take it apart .can anyone tell me what to look for when taking it apart that may be causing the problem.

 

Please check the FAQ stickied at the top. There are tons of reasons why your car might be feeling "weak." Just taking it apart could be the completely wrong direction to go. Maybe a little more information would help us to diagnose why your engine is feeling weak. Also, it would probably be a good idea to pick up a Haynes repair manual and/or download the online FSM at www.fc3s.org

do a full tune up, fuel filter, air filter, pulgs, oil, spark plug cables... You should notice a preformance increase with that.
