GA Bright Lights problem

Hey guys
I have a quick question. Sometimes while driving with the brights on. They Dim and come right back. Just as if i turned the brights off and turned them right back on. Happens randomly
Any Ideas of what could be causing this?

Could be the Dimmer relay or Dimmer switch.

Yeah my first thought was the headlight switch.
but i noticed that it only does it if the brights are on.
if you switch back to dims
no problem at all.
It really started to be a problem the other day when we got a bunch of rain.
ever few minutes it would happen.
Got pretty annoying.

Are your lights going from high beam to low beam and back or is it something different? If it's as I think then go to the front of the car and between the nose of the car and the radiator are a set of relays in a row. The one on the far left when standing in front of the car is the Dimmer relay and it has the five following wires. Two are R/G, one is R/B, one is R/W and the last one is White. Jumper this White wire to ground with the lights on and this should force the brights to turn on. Then see if the brights behave themselves or not. You could fasten the jumper wire to the negative terminal of the battery and then take the other end of the jumper wire and shove it into the back of the relay plug where the White wire resides so both ends of the jumper wire are secure enough for you to take the car for a ride if need be to check the lights.
