bride seats, stock rails
i got a pair of bride pros, and decided to see if i could make my stock rails work.
it was a piece of cake for the drivers side. all i needed to do was drill 2 new holes for the seat to bolt on to the rails, and slot out the holes for the rails to bolt to the floor.
not so simple for passenger. as soon i as saw that the passenger seat itself, and not the rail, is angled to fit the hump on the floor, i knew it would be a bit tougher to pull off.
you can see that the passenger seat is leaning to the outside a little bit.
to fix this, i have a few options.
1) use spacers on the right rail and twist the front mounting point on the left rail. it will be higher than the drivers side if i do that, but who cares (not me)
2) make some kind custom adapter thing
3) buy bride rails for the passenger (way too tall, imo)
anyone done this before? any thing i should avoid due to it being unsafe?
