Brave Blue Coupe
Does anyone know how rare this car actually is? Like how desirable? I have heard rumors that it was a rare color but I just don't know. Thankyou

It's only worth as much as what someone else is willing to pay for it.
It's not a Turbo II - those are more desirable for obvious reasons.
It's not a "GTUs", which have documentation on their limited numbers.
You can make an argument about the 1988 "GTU".
You can even make an argument about a 1986 - 1987 "Sport".
Almost anything else isn't "rare".
Just because your FC is a different color won't make people flock to your doorstep to buy it from you.
Is this a base model or a GXL?

Fully loaded
Every option It can have except the AAS on it, leather throughout and 4 pot front calipers. I wish it was a T2 but quite honestly I bought it for the color, and to be honest I didn't know anything about the cars when I bought it or I would have tried to get the price down... oh well live and learn.
And whats so wrong with Atkins?
Anything I have needed they have gone to extra lengths to help out and provide.

the blue was what I wanted in an FD but to tell you the truth who the hell put blue and tan together for the FD's? So yeah when I saw this car in the blue I knew I had to have it because like vaughnc said who wants boring silver and "everybody's got it" red? I see so many f'n red, black and white rx's I was like... mmm... no. And when my gf at the time told me she thought the vert looked like a barbie car in any of those colors I was like... mmm yeah I'm a barbie girl in a barbie world...
So yeah nice to see another brave blue out there... now I know where to get parts
Also how do you quote someone? Thanx

are you kidding me ? I LOVE WHITE FC'S . I am biased though b/c i own one , i've also owned a 90 blaze red and a 86 artic silver . I'll tell you what thought .... That brave blue isn't bad . I haven't seen too many of them .
Not that my opinion matters but its funny you posted this today because I myself wasasking the same question yesterday. I have just baought a ''brave blue'' vert that i swear i have never seen this car in the convertible. And also I hear theat this car only came with black interior with this rare color, but mine has dark blue carpet with th eleather seats. And a good friend of mine who has worked for mazda since 1988 told me that the brave blue vert is indeed a rare car, but probably only desired by a true rx-7 enthusiest. All i know is that this is a rare color in coupe and more so in vert. It is all in how you desire the color. and i will admit that most fc's are the common red white black, even if you do not particurally like the color you are definetelly owning a rare colored rx-7 and i think thats worth more personally than what you might find on kbb or edmunds. But then again thats just my opinion.......

The color was why I bought the car for WAY WAY too much, especially without even having it run when I bought it... thats right my dad and a friend pushed me onto the trailer and amazingly enough I stopped 2 inches short of the tongue lift crank, which we were all like... OMG that woulda sucked. but when I bought it I got some gorgeous speedline 17,s and the original wheels with it. I couldn't argue... but still had no problem paying $2800 for something that needed as much work as it did... unfortunalty for me the one thing my dad taught me was never to half *** something you would regret... so 2 years later now I have still not driven it or even heard it run, but I am done with the engine bay

and on to the entire suspension and brake system I go. Pulling it out and replacing what needs it and sandblasting and painting what I can. All my friends think I am crazy and often offer to push me down the driveway with a sound bite of the exhaust from another rx running going so I can feel like I am driving it... LOL all I can say to em is thanx guys
