I really need a tune up on my '86 NA and am going to do it myself but I have a few questions about the differences in brand names. First off I'm looking on http://www.car-stuff.com/. I'm sure theres a better site out there.

So Oil Filters, Bosch for $4.93 or someone else like Denso for $9.95?

Fuel Filters, again Bosch $14.95 or someone like NPN at $37.95?

Spark Plug Wires, MSD for $62.52 or Accel for $34.63?

Well I think thats about it. I'll be using Castrol GTX for my oil, 20W50. Did I forget anything? Thanks.

For all the stuff you listed, I would just go with oem parts. You can get the stock wires, which are perfectly good, for 32.50 at http://mazdatrix.com/ign-3.htm. You can get the fuel filter for 32.47 from mazdatrix as well. Or you could just get it all at the dealer, they shouldn't be much more and you don't have to wait for them to come in.
