Braking in a 13bt

ok i've seen things about how to brake in 13bts like only driving under 4k rpms for first like 3k mile and run like half boost but most of them where talking about new 13bts. i have a S4 13bt with 2500 miles on the rebuild w/ all new seals and have to drive it 400-500 miles from where i'm picking up the car from. the turbo is not new so it's broken in. al i've been told in to keep it under 4k rpms the hole way. but for how meany more miles do i need to keep the rpms low?

man
that's a long-*** breakin.

My motor has new main bearings (in the rx8 stationaries) = but I don't think I'll be spending 6000KM breaking it in, that's just crazy! I might not drive that far the whole summer.

i'll jsut get it home, keep it under 4k ont he highway and have my rotor guy look it over and tune it a little and swithc the oil then it's burn out time
