brakes lines regarding the 4pot

Out of curiosity is there suppose to be a hard line on the caliper on the 4pot system. I never really paid attention it. I notice i have a hard pipe then into a SS line into another hardline on the chassis.

Yes. sounds like your system is stock (except for the SS line).

I was wondering can replace the hardlines on the caliper with a longer SS lines?

Yes you can swap the hard lines to caliper with s.s. hoses but I don't see any reason why since the caliper is not a floating caliper.
