Thumbs down Brake woes 2 (-1)

so i got a fancy set of 4 pot ss brake lines (racing beat) and installed the front 2 np prob then went to throw on the rears and call it a day and oh no ! they are NOT the same connection at the caliper at all .... the stock rubber line is a bolt in and my lines are the standards flare nut ends... (see picture) ... so now what ? any suggestions ?

fyi - its for a 88 vert n/a with 4 pot fronts and 1 pot rear

any help would be great !

The single-piston rear calipers that are matched with the 4-piston front calipers are different from the "standard" rear calipers. Are your rear rotors vented? If so, you likely have the correct rear calipers for a 4-piston system, and I would think that they provided the wrong lines.

If the rear rotors are NOT vented, I believe that your rear calipers are not the matching calipers for a 4-piston system. And you will need to get lines for the standard caliper (that is, the non 4-piston system calipers).

the line is not right...looks like it should have a banjo fitting that screws into the end of it.

I would have to concur on this one. I believe that is correct.

Is this a recent purchase? Just send them an email or give them a call. They are pretty nice people and if you just explain what happened I don't see why they wouldn't let you return it.

Yeah they should allow it, just clean them up so they are not a mess or anything and I can't see why they wouldn't take them back. Get the ones you need and your done.

No, the rear lines are the same on the vented and non-vented rears. I know, I've used the same lines on both.
