Brake update, now no speedometer
Hey guys, this weekend I installed some stainless steel braided brake lines, some new Hawk pads and I flushed the system with ATE Superblu. Upon completion of the task I drove home and realized my speedometer didn't work and after a little bit of driving my power steering cut off...
I had some friends helping me and none of us know what we did wrong, does anyone have any ideas? The FSM shows "vehicle speed sensors" on the front and rear rotors, but I don't remember seeing any

Look for the speedometer cable. Your speedometer is a mechanical one. Mine was loose at the transmission case not long ago and i had the same problems. If everything is thight down there, look behind your gauge cluster. There's the other end of the cable and it might have been falling off.

^ this is a great question...i don't know...do 88 TIIs come with abs our is it an option?
Maybe when my friend was under the car, fiddling with the fuel filter he knocked some **** around...
Also the FSM alludes to "engine speed sensing power steering"...so maybe it is related to the speedo? The power steering works everytime I turn the car on, but if I go above a certain speed, probably around 25-30, it cuts off and won't come back on until I restart the car
