brake problems...

hi, I recently put on new front brakes, pads, calipers and I'm having trouble getting the brakes to bleed right. When I first changed them I had pressure in the rear lines still, but no pressure up front. My buddy suggested it might be a problem with the proportioning valve. Some how helped me to get pressure in the front, but now I have no pressure in the rear.... The fluid squirts out of the front bleeders perfectly, but just dribbles out of the rear. I'm completely stumped so any suggestions would be great. thanks.

you just gotta bleed your brakes properly. by properly, i mean in the right order and in the right way.

sequence:
1 rear left (driver side)
2 rear right
3 front right
4 front left

make sure you get a steady flow out of each line before shutting it.
