Brake Part Prices for TII

I just wanted to update everyone on what I have found for brake parts and the prices I found em at. I have seen a lot of price gouging on here and elsewhere on used stuff. Front Brake Calipers $37.99 EA, Brake Master Cylinder W/ABS $38.00
There was a $50 core on Ea Caliper and $10 core on the Master Cylinder. So for all the people who want $50-$60 for a used Master Cylinder WTF even without core a new rebuilt one will only run $48 and ya dont have to pay shipping. I got these from Checker. You can get these same items at these prices from any Checker, Kragen or Schucks. Plus no shipping charges and they all come with a lifetime warranty. I just wanted to give anyone else who may be thinking of paying top dollar for used, the low down on fresh rebuilt stuff with warranty.

Ya maybe next year. I need brakes now however LOL. I already bought one big ticket item this yr. If you recall I did get a rebuild this yr. Plus I have a AR15 on layway that I still owe $600 more on. Anyway I just want people to pay attention to the used parts prices and compare them to new or rebuilt prices. I have found several parts cheaper new and rebuilt than some people wanted for used on here. Plus many of these new and rebuild parts come with warrantys. Like my brake parts I just bought were all lifetime warranty. After looking for parts and seeing what people wanted for used not to mention shipping, I looked at the local parts stores and found em cheaper. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Maybe we should start a section where members can just post what they bought where they bought it and cost. I am sure the usual price gougers would cry in protest though. Well hope everyone had a great summer. Summer in my neck of the woods is almost over and the RX will go back into hibernation and the Tacoma will be in full force

Ah, we better hang out sooner or later. You hang out with my friend from Detroit Lakes before you hang out with me. I've noticed that most general parts can be cheaper from a shop too.

Hope Kyle is having fun ;o!
