brake master cyl.

hi,

i had my brake master cyl leaking alot of fluid. i went to local junk yard and pulled on off another fc. i toss it on and try to bleed it but no fluid comes out or gets drained from the master cyl. i just unbolted old one, bolt up the new/used one. there any thing spl im supposed to do while the install? thanks

Bench bleed that hooker first. If you have a helper you can do it while it is already installed.

Do a google search on it, you will get the idea. You need to create a vacuum and pressure within the cylinder itself before it will pump through the lines corectly. And don't go out and buy anyhting, you can do it with a hose or 2 and your thumb. It doesn't take much.

Fill the resivoir up with fluid then connect hoses one end to outlet (to lines) other end goes in the resivoir, do this for all the line conections, pump the rod till all the air is out. Then install it
