Brake line/caliper question.
Ok............I changed the front calipers on the GXL with re-manufactured/rebuilt Mazda ones from an auto parts store. The drivers side went on fine with no problems. The passenger side leaked fluid at the fitting where the brake line goes into the caliper. It appeared that the threads were stripped out on the caliper. Soooooo, I took it back and exchanged it. The second one does the same thing, and it too seems to be stripped out. Of course the man at the auto parts store says that it's very unusual to have that happen once, let alone twice. The brake line fitting seems fine it's always the caliper side.
My question (s) is: Is it possible that the rebuilt caliper is just crappy or are older calipers prone to do this? Am I tightening down the fitting too much and stripping it out? Like I said the drivers side went on fine.
Thanks in advance.

well if you're not over-tightening and the threads on the brakeline aren't damaged, then yet it's possible. You could always re-thread the brake line threads if you think they're damaged.
BTW - you only torque those to like 4-8 inch pounds I believe, check the service manual.
