Did you put anti-squeal on the back of the brakes? Also, are you using the metal shims on the back of the brake pads?

yes i put anti squeel on the back

what do you mean by "shims" i'm not familiar with that term.

on the back of the brake pads there is a metal plate that sticks to the pad is that a shim.

when i put anti squeel spray stuff, i just sprayed it on the metal plate, should i spray it between the plate and the pad also>?

The shims are the thin metal plates that go between the metal part of the brake pad and the caliper. There's two of 'em sandwiched together on the front pads, and one on the rear pads.

The anti-squeal goes where the shims go - between the pad and the caliper. I prefer the type that comes in a little tube that's a goo - you spread it on with your finger. The spray-on stuff is a little too thin.

see the "sandwich" consists of the pad-shim-caliper

does the antisqueel go between the pad and the shim or between the shim and the caliper?
