Brake Booster Vac Line

the vac line off the LIM to the firewall was very brittle and broken so i replaced it with regular rubber hose. the problem is the hose is not very flexible and is now kinked. if i go to autozone or napa would they have vacuum line big enough, and would it be safe to use instead of the original molded rubber hose? if not where can i get the original molded hose, i didn't see it on mazdatrix, is it a dealer item?
thanks

Just go to a parts store and buy the correct hose. There is no valid reson to not use the correct part.

The obvious place to buy the correct molded hose is Mazda. Shocked?

if you have a TII and no check valve in the brake booster hose, then you have no brakes when you're in boost.

dont be a douchebag and post stuff like this

i doubt your brakes work PERFECTLY, especially when they dont have power assist at all in boost.

It's on the back of the LIM. It's the only connection big enough for the brake booster hose, so it should be obvious.

All of them have check valves stock.
If yours doesn't have it, it's been altered.

In my 5 FC's I have never had one with a check valve :-/ The turbo setup brakes perfectly trust me. If you have a extra check valve mail one to me and I will see how it works then.

Sigh at the neglected arrogance around today :-(

The starter of this thread was specifically asking about the line from the hard line to the LIM that is molded. There is NO check valve in this line. Yes I do not have one in this line. Yes my car brakes fine. The valve is in the hose from the booster to the hard line. Unless it is right hand drive.

Now I just went to my car to confirm this again. It has a check valve where I thought in the hose from the booster to the hard line. There is no valve from the hard line to the LIM.

No he wasn't. What part of "molded rubber hose" did you not understand? Learn to read threads properly before you start arguing.

All right now im arguing. The first hose on a non right hand drive car is not molded! The only molded hose is the hose that comes from the hard line to the LIM. This hose has no check valve. The hose from the booster to the hard line on a left hand drive car is not molded. So now I am arguing your neglected responses. READ IT AGAIN!

What part of molded hose did I not understand? THE PART OF NOT MOLDED THAT YOU MISSED.

Stupidity like this **** is what makes intelligent people want to quit the internet, I really am getting fed up with it. People not understanding, one, how you learn and move on. And two how you make stupid responses like this thread.

I think people are fed up with not being able to understand what the hell you are saying most of the time.

Even NZ (a foreigner) is making fun of your use of the english language!
