Question Brake bleeding weirdness

I just changed my front two calipers and bled them both. When I bled the first caliper (furthest from the master cylinder) I got a resonable amount of air out of it but when I bled the 2nd one no air came out at all - only clean fluid. I can't make my mind up if the feel of the brake pedal is "spongy" or not (usual sign of air in the system).

Does this sound normal or do I have a huge amount of air in my second caliper that I con't get out for some reason?

Cheers.

When you open up the brake system like that, you will have to bleed all four corners. Start with the rear right, then rear left, front right and finally front left.

still doesn't explain why I am seeing no air coming out of one of the calipers - this is what has me stumped.

Was the bleeder loose for any length of time? It's possible to gravity bleed the system so you may have inadvertantly gravity bled the one caliper.

What exactly did you do to bleed the brakes?
Did you have the help of a friend?
