bov problem??/

i think i have a bad bov , is that possible? its an apexi , when i gas the car all i hear is air rushing out and my car goes no where. checked all the vacuum lines and just put in a new gasket ( because i thought it was that) all good. now i tightened my bov all the way it seems a little bit better but not much i still hear all the air rushing out , and no power, could it be something else? i checked all my hoses and they are good. but with the amount of air i am lossing it coulnt be a hose.

If it's an Apex'I, just wrap the holes closed with duct tape and go out for a drive. Does it work now? If so, replace the valve.
