Question BOV install location R U right or left?

OK here we go.. I noticed that many of my fellow Turbo FC's have the BOV installed on the left side of the engine bay. (Turbo Side) and I have mine installed on the right ( just before the throttle body).

What's the difference or is there a difference?

If you have a front mount, there is a difference. If you don't, I don't even know where it would go on the driver side.

I personally don't know if it's supposed to go between the IC and TB or the IC and turbo. On the stock location it goes between the IC and turbo, but I see people putting them on the TB side. I don't know for sure which is better when dealing with an FMIC though.

i think i would rather release air that hasn't gone through the intercooler than air that has, lamans terms i'd rather release hot air than cold air, but it might make it harder on the bov itself releasing hot air, depends on what kind of a bov you go with, a good aftermarket one i don't think it would really matter, but you try and rig up a pos one eh maybe maybe not if ya know what i mean.

On best motoring I have always noticed them on the TB side, BUT.... most of them have their own tubing that branches off from the TB IC piping.

as close to the TB as possible. this has been covered before.

you dont want the air in the ic pipes to have to revert back and flow the other way back to the bov when it opens.... then do another 180 and start going back to the tb after the bov closes.

you want the air to keep going in the same direction... its a flow thing.
