BOV choices
I'm looking for a bov for my 87 t2. It has 128k km's with rb full exhaust. It doesn't backfire at all, not even sure if it pop flames. It probly does but just haven't seen it. Anyways, I was thinking of going with the apexi twin chamber bov. I love the sound, but was doing some searching and found out the car will backfire because it vents to the atmosphere. I don't really wanna go back to a 7 that always backfires, like my old 86 n/a.
I don't mind the sound of the HKS SSQV, they are atmospheric correct? So I understand a recirculating bov would be the way to go, but then you wouldn't get any noises right? I'm mostly wanting a bov for the sound. The apexi twin chamber bov has got a better sound IMO. Any ideas with what I should go with, with out backfiring? And most importantly, my biggest question is does a recirculating bov make any noises?
