when i start to make boost i hear a wooshing sound, and when i let off it doesn't sound like a release of presure. i have a turbo xs bov i added a washer it seems to starting woosh later and i get a better responce, however now it smells like something is burning (oil i think)

 

is anyone familiar with the turbo xs bov? particulary how many shims should be used?
