bought a header

I just bought the RB header and pre silencer. i wanted to know how easy it is to install. Is there going to be any welding involved.

The ease of installation will depend on how rusty your exhaust system is. Could be a breeze, could be living hell.

You will also need a blockoff plate for your ACV, and more than likely some welding will be required to adapt it to your exhaust system (not sure if the racing beat header will connect to the stock exhaust).

with the header and presilencer, it should bolt directly to the cat-back system with no welding.

Why do you need an ACV blockoff plate?

B'c the RB Header blocks off the fresh air tube rendering the ACV useless for the most part. For that matter, the Header comes with the Plate.

you dont need a block off plate... the air tube hooks directly to the presilencer.. its no big deal to install even if the bolts are rusty.. just need some WD 40 or PB blaster ect.. and a impact and it will be a sinch.. should take like 1 1/2-2hours to install really no biggy.. you have any questions about the install just PM me and i will get back to ya..
