Bought an 87 GXL-Help
Hey I just bought an 87 GXL with a Tein suspension, a very nice exhaust, its 5 lug, power windows, Nice rims with brand new tires. Its crashed in front but it runs fine with 130k on motor. It cost me $280 so I think it was okay.
The reason I am posting is because I want to know if I can make my car 88 SE 5 lug, and if the GXL has an LSD if that can also be added to my other car as well, including suspension and rims. I want to know if it will be simple, my friend offered to do all the work for $300 so I want to know if it is Possible THANKS!!!
oh and I won't be using the GXL so its only for parts.

the GXL parts directly swap over to the SE. the GXL also has LSD. all the things you want from the GXL will swap over to the SE.
as far as easy..it depends on how mechanically inclined you and your buddy are but with two guys it can be done in a day or a weekend. the rear suspension is a bit of a hassle and takes the most time as you will be swapping the LSD. don't forget to take the GXL brakes too. they are TII calipers.
*edit* ^^beat me to it.
