Boost Problems

Hi guys, trying to help a friend with his 87 t2. We just got the car on the road and started moddifying. Heres what done to it:

3" TID
2.5" Straight piped exhaust
Boost controller/ guage
walbro 255
Turbo Xs BOV
Emissions removed
ported wastegate

So we had the car running very well at 6 psi in first and 7-8 in other gears. My friend was sure that when he removed emmissions that he did not put the vaccum lines on correctly, alothough the car ran fine. After he screwed them up trying to fix them(moved them shorttened them), the car would sputter really bad at about 5k in ever gear. I did find that the FPR line was NOT connected! I went over with some diagrams and replumed everything. Now, Without the boost controller, the car runs fine at stock boost levels. once its put back in, and set where it was at 7-8 psi, the car boosts crazy, it will boost 4-5 in first, 6-8 in second, sometime hold at 8 in 3rd, or sometimes hit fuel cut, or other times not hit fuel cut till the top of fourth gear. I am not sure what is going on here? It sound like boost creep, but the wastegate is ported, and the car never hit fuel cut before this "incident". Also, the boost will stay at about stock levels with a silencer inserted in the exhaust as well as the boost controller installed. Adjusting it just screwes it up more. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Did I overlook something? Its just wierd that the car had no problems with boost creep and now it seems it does, and I am sure I followed the diagrams correctly. If anyone has the slightest idea please let me know. We do not know alot about turbos just the basics, we were both na 7 guys and he got the t2 before I did.... Thanks to any ideas.....

I honesty cant comment on the twin scroll, I dont know, he did all the work on the porting etc. He got "Those lines look like crap going ever where" syndrome and shorttened almost ever line by a 4-7 inches. I replace the line from the boost PS to his T with one off an N/a mazda that he cut to about 6 inches, the one he cut when he messed them up was only long enough to connect with the restrictor pill. I dont know if this helps or not, but it seemed too.

With those mods, you're supposed to be hitting fuel-cut.
I dunno why it wasn't before.
It might've been connected wrong BEFORE, and now fixed it's working right.

Please do something about the overboost fuel-cut.
Bouncing off of it is BAD.

rtek is in the mail, it actually might be here today, hopefully anyway because we are putting in a 6 puck today and the car will already be down. That actually is the same thing I though, but my friend refused to believe it, and now here I am.
