Boost, Hesitation, Braking, and Jerking Q's

Right now I am breaking in my engine, I have about 350 miles on it so far. Every now and agian when I get on the thorttle very lightly, keeping a close eye on the boost guage so that it does not cross the zero line, when I let off the throttle to up shift I hear my BOV letting out the pressure. I have the Blitz DD BOV, so it is pretty loud to begin with, but it sounds like I am hitting boost and not staying in vaccum. Would a aftermarket BOV still discharge a decent amount of air/noise while in vaccum? Or is the stock boost guage reading wrong and I am actually boosting?

Also I am limiting my max rpm for the first 600miles to 4K. Everyonce in a while I will slowly rev the the engine through the gears to 4K (or few hundred rpms less) in first and second it is fine, but the last time I just did it in third, I felt the 3800rpm hestiation, I really could not say if it had happened in the past becuase I really was not paying attention. Is it normal for it NOT to hesitate in all the gears? Or was that just a fluke this one time?

I had just notice the other day when I apply the brakes I hear something on the passenger side of the car sort of make a smacking/popping noise (sort of like metal smacking metal). If I let off and apply them again I will hear it again, it is only when I initially depress the pedal. The breaking seems fine, ever since I started hearing the noise.

Lastly, when I am driving down the road and let off the throttle or get on the throttle I notice the car jerking, with the slightest throttle input. I had my rear off over the winter and the diff mount was intact and looked good. Is this normal as well? Would adding an engine torque damper stop this from happening, or would ther be a bushing problem causing this?

I have the same issue with initial throttle application after decel, I have come to the conclusion it is my front diff mount, thanks to people helping me. Mine was fine I am assuming, until it broke. Looks like it is time to put the car back up in the air and take a good look at it. You probably broke it even if it was fine over the winter.

I also had hesitation issues, but it turned out mine was due to the gas I was using in the car. Turned out the Citgo nearby has low quality gas that has a lot more water in it or something, cause my car was SUCKING on it. Switched to Sunoco and hesitation was G-O-N-E.

That braking, and smacking sound, is pretty creepy sounding, I would get that checked out. Anything to do with oddities in the braking system should be addressed IMMEDIATELY

I'll tell you right now that the hesitation problem is probably due to a tps disadjustment or bad grounds. As for the other questions can't wait to be answered because I have the same jerking problem on my n/a, as a matter of fact, let me add something to that, does that jerking sound also comes with a clanking sound?, Are the tranny mounts famous for going out?

your bov should still vent because even though your not boosting, your turbo is still spinning, when you let off the gas, the throttle plates close and pressure is created from the turbo still spinning which cuases the blowoff valve to vent. perfectly normal, just as long as you dont boost, your ok.

I amlost never get a a clanking noise, like I said the rear end was down over the winter And I a cannot see the mount breaking with just putting 300 and some odd miles. Besides I do not hear a clanking noise, the only noise I really hear is from the hatch...

Yeah I just wanted to make sure that the discharged air I was hearing is normal. Part of the problem is I just cannot remeber how louder the BOV is under full boost...
