what wire did you guys tap into for a pillar mounted boost gauge?

 

I wired up the light with 2-core speaker wire and ran it down to the cig lighter illumination wire, and earthed to one of the radio mounting screws. I know it's not the closest (my boost gauge is in front of the stock one) but it's one of the easiest to get to.

 

Hooked it up to the cig. lighter bulb. So I can dim the lights with the dash dimmer.

 

You Earth it?? Man that always cracks me up. I would ground it, but what ever floats your boat. Hey nothing but love.

 

yep. take off the cover for your center console and wire it up to the cig lighter. then u can adjust ur light brightness with the dimmer
