Boost Guage Install?

I just got my new Autometer Sport-Comp boost guage in, and wondered which Vaccuum hose most people hook theirs up to??

I'm going to be mounting it into an A-Pillar pod with a water temp guage. I was thinking about going all the way to the boost sensor and hooking into that line. Would that be a good idea? Anyone have pics or suggestions of how they split into another vac line?

TIA,
Chris

Just run that plastic line from your guage through the firewall and into a vaccum line. Its that easy. I tied into the ones in the engine bay that are near the drivers side firewall. Hope that helps!

Use the vacuum line that goes to the stock pressure sensor. Simply use a T to connect the thin Autometer line into the stock rubber one. The Autometer tube actualy fits inside the T of the proper size, so simply apply a little bit of expoxy to seal it and keep it in there.

Be careful with the compression fittings on that tubing. Too tight and the tubing will get crushed, and then you get no reading.
