boost gauge help

sorry for the newb question but this is my first boosted 7 and im not sure where to hook the boost gauge into. pics would help if possible

if its mechanical, you need a vacumm line from the engine bay and feed it into the interior some how, than as far as electrical, one ground wire to the chassis, and the other is illumination, so you will have to tap it to a wire in the cluster or climate control box. I suggest using a volt meter to find a wire to tap into.

i was wondering what line most people tapped into, i know how a boost gauge works just not sure where the best place to conect it would be and it is mechanical

Some kits come with a plastic tee so you can just tap into an existing line. If you want to do it that way, the line to the boost sensor or blow off valve (bypass valve) will work.

Alternatively, the nipples next to the throttle body are a mixure of vacuum and air sources, so if you choose to use one of them instead, you'll need to get the right one.
