Boost Gauge
Hi guys,
I've finally managed to get around to installing my AutoMeter boost gauge and I have a bit of a problem. I've got the gauge, cup and the adapter screwed onto the port nut, however I'm missing the tubing, t piece, ferrule and some sort of locking (compression) nut to get the tubing to stay in place. I have the manual from the site here so will link it.
http://www.autometer.com/productPDF/1115A.pdf
The tubing, t piece and ferrule shouldn't be hard to get hold of, though if someone could recommend what type of ferrule to get I'd appreciate it - they show 2 different types so I'm interested to know if there's one that's better than the other. More wondering what they mean by a compression nut, and is there any one in particular I need to get. Last thing I need is to be boosting away and suddenly have a pressurised hose blow off and start flinging inside my car.
Also if someone could point out the best place to connect the +12V lighting wire, it would be appreciated. Otherwise I'll use the FSM to find it.
May sound like a dumb question but I want to do it right and I'd rather get flamed and do it right than stuff it up and end up with expensive problems later.

I wouldn't be using an A/M gauge if the stock one worked, but since there's an FCD in the car it's killed off the boost reading at ECU level, so no stock gauge for me.
Will check the local hardware stores first before I try contacting Autometer for replacement parts since I imagine they'll charge a fortune. Thanks for the info on the install kit - I'm in Australia not the US though. But I'm sure I can find one over here. Will keep an eye out. Maybe head over the road to the local auto parts shop see if they've got it there.
Thanks for the info on the headlight switch harness as well - much appreciated
