boost controller

Hi i was wondering what does a boost controller do?? well duh it controllers boost but how?? thanks

most use intake vac to control the waste gate, intern allowing you to adjust boost levels. For more power when runing higher octane gas or less boost when only octane is avalible

Yup, it controls the opening of the wastegate, allowing more pressure to build before the wastegate starts opening.
