Bonnet Help
Hey,
I am putting a 20B with a t66 in my car with a Front Mount Intercooler. I have a Turbo bonnet and a standard N/A bonnet, Couple of questions
1) Which do you guys think i should put on the car. Will the turbo bonnet have any aid although there is not intercooler there.
2) What clutch would you guys recommend for this setup. A really good single plate or a twin plate.
3) Would you powder coat the engine or not
Any help would be awsome
Cheers
Chris

Id go with the NA hood so long as its aluminium. Ive never really used twin plate clutches, so I cant really comment. Although I will say that if youre planning on making 650bhp, it can never hurt I wouldnt powder coat it unless I had some high temp powder. I used some high temp powder on my downpipe a while ago and its stayed on relatively well. Theres a few spots where it has "liquified" again from the heat, and got stuff stuck in it, but overall, its worked pretty good. Since your engine doesnt get nearly as hot as your downpipe, Id say youd be fine with some high temp powder.
