Bonez Race Pipe Performance Gains?

I am thinking about buying the Bonez Race Pipe from RX7.Com and I was wondering if anybody out there has one for a N/A and what the performance gains are?

Are you sure you want the racepipe? That would leave you with no cats. Make sure you can handle the smell of an 'uncorked' rotary. The fumes will make you're eyes water at a stop light.

If you want to know what your car will be like, remove your existing cats and gut them. Put the cats back on and give it a try. This will also give you a pretty good idea of the performance gains you will get from the racepipe. (5-10 HP? *Guessing* What other mods do you have?)

The Bonez high flow cat is the other more expensive option...

The pipe is the mintist peice of material I have ever held...I imagine I will also say that about my Corksport SS exaust when it comes (backordered). With the Race Pipe or RP your car will sound fairly mean and with a single exaust, even meaner. You will feal the differance I am sure since three cats are pretty restrictive. I hope to get the Corksport peice either this week or next. And than just put them together, yank my other whole off and bolt it all up to the Manifold. Seriously I can't wait. But I will throw out a thread on sound, performance, etc when it is all together. Than maybe I might be able to drive the damn thing

I have the Boxnez race pipe from RP on my car and the APEXi n1 singel exhaust. Yes it does smell a little not that bad in my book, and sound meaner but I really think it gives a good power gain. but make sure you can do it and pass smog in your state if there is any.

You can go wiht a down pipe and mid pipe I think, Call some of the shops like mazdatrixs, Rotary Performance (rx7.com), or racing beat they can tell you what you can use. Not unless someone on here can let you know.

race pipe shouldnt have an air pump hook up, its called a race pipe, not a street pipe which means no emissions, also, i know for a fact n a third gen you lose 4Ibs of torque on my friends car and he gained 40 something horsepower on his 94 but he is running a garret t-62
