Bonez Clutch from Rotary Preformance

What do you all think of the bonez street-comp clutch from rx7.com? I need a new clutch really bad, i can barely even get my car to move foward because it just wont catch. I would rather get an ATC street/strip but i want to do this locally and not have to wait for the clutch to get here. So i was just wondering what your opinions on these were.

I wouldn't settle for anything ... personally i think ACT is a much better clutch. Search online and you'll find a good deal ...

Besides my lingering distaste for RP ... their prices are really high

You dont understand though I cant even drive my car with the clutch the way it is. And the Bonez Clutch would be the same price after shipping with the ACT. So i was just wondering if it was a good clutch or if i should just not drive for a while until I can get the ACT.

Ive ordered stuff from RP and they have great service. Those guys do have high prices but thats due to the fact they actually have thier own warehouse and they get **** out to ppl very quick. As far as that particular clutch i couldent tell you but id defetly call them or stop in and ask them for a good clutch for your application

I have the standard street clutch from RP it holds 10 percent better than stock. The quality looks top notch . even better than OEM. I installed it myself and was only 200 bucks or 240 with shipping. Came with pilot and throwout bearing , friction and pressure plates. Very awsome deal if you ask me and only took 2 days to get here. Dont know why anyone would say thier no good. They dont know what their talking about. I also have a bonez race pipe and thats Top Quality welds and bends and its only 150 bucks compared to racing beats 350-400 for the same thing in two seperate pieces.
I would take the street comp clutch over act any day.

I put in a ACT street/strip clutch with pressure plate with my jspec engine install. I love the clutch. I think it is 38% increase over stock. I got it from www.rx7store.net, like $330 i think check them out. Can't tell you how good that clutch is.

well the Comp clutch holds just as well more or less and is also around 330. The choice is yours. Remember this. The more your clutch holds the greater chance for tranz failer or premature failure. If your N/A I would stick with bonez. If your Turbo then I guess act would be a better choice although if you go to www.rx7.com and catolouge section , cluthes or drivetrain. They will tell you what cars thier using thier clutch in. Good luck.

The bonez clutch is great. I would recommend it, and RP usually gives you advice on how to install it. My friend has one on his TII and it's got quite a bit of power. I would go for it. ACT isn't bad either.

Increase in presure plate presure... more presure on the clutch and thus more griping power.
