bolt on my cat snapped, i need advice

if have 1987 turboii

i was installing my RB catback and as we were pulling off the old exhaust on of the bolts on my catalytic converter snapped (the one thats part of the cat)

i was able to get the exhaust installed, but its literally hanging on by a few threads

i am considering a bonez downpipe and high-flow cat from rx7.com can anyone tell me if ill pass emmisions, and if this is a good system

You could always just drop the cat, and take a hammer and whack the old stud out. Then just put a new nut and bolt on.

I have one on my '89TII, and yes it will pass emissions. At least it has for the last 6 years here in NJ. You'll not notice much of a performance increase with the Bonez system though, but it will make the RB system louder than when the stock cats were on the car.

Drill the old stud out and then retap. This takes some skill but honestly the exhaust is not exactly critical so if it's not perfectly centered the world will not end...
