Suggestion:
Quick fix.
get the old one out..Go to store and grab a longer one, same size but just a bit longer.
Drill the threads out of your assembly.Put in the new longer one,Nut it and you are done.
The Great thing?..who cares it is standard or metric..It's a QUICK fix.

Oh..to get at it,you do not need to remove any Axle nut.
12mm caliper bolt to move the caliper out of the road and then pop your rotor off so you can get at the spindle bolt.

By the way I am assuming this is one of the 17mm bolts that go through the assembly and not the BIG 21mm bolt that is a freakin pain to get off?

If it is the 21,sorry about all the typing.
