Body Kit install......

Hey for you guys that have installed a body kit. Do you transfer your stock mounts off the OEM bumper to the Fiberglass Bumper. I am doing the side and rear bumper tomorrow. Did a dry fit today all seems ok. Just wanna make sure that the stock mounts are needed.

on the stock bumper there is a mounting plate that runs accross the sides and top of the rear bumper. it is attached with plastic clips. the Rear bumper is held on with like 14 10mm bolts. I am assuming that I need to remove the stock mount and transfer it to the fiberglass bumper. Seeing as most kits come with 0 instructions.

sent a pm... but for anyone else who wants to know.... yes, you take the stock stud plates off of the oem parts and reinstall them on the glass kit! there are 5 on the rear bumper, 3 on top and 2 on the sides... i used only the 3 top ones due to the kit wraping around the side of the car! the front requires you to use the front main rail that runs the whole way across the top inside of the bumper, but not the sides (again, this is just my kit, since it wraps around the sides) .... and the side skirts, i used industrial strenght double-sided tape on the moulding and the entire doors floor.. then used screws for the inner fender well... i hope this helps anyone who was wondering! if you have any further questions, feel free to pm me
