Body kit ID assistance-this might be a hard one.

I have been searching my rather extensive body kit file thinking I had successfully catagorized just about every type of kit in existence for an RX7. I confidently felt that I knew them all until I came across this (looks like it's going 120 standing still kit ) Of course the one kit I can't ID is the one I want. (Murphy's law and all I guess) Can someone please ID this one for me??
The wing is more than likely a Wangan, and the kit looks like a Vanish, but it has slight differences that don't add up to the Vanish kit. I think the Aero kit was really close to this, but can't really tell w/out being able to see the front end.
The pic was in the FEED kits file when I found it, and has the tag on it as well, but I am not familiar with this kit.
It's beauty is in it's simplicity.
In addition, if anyone knows what kind of mirror that is, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Troy Fitz.

I'm thinkin RMagic by the looks of the sideskirts...

The mirrors are either going to be Bomex or RE Amemiya...

they pretty much look the same...

Is that kit still readily available? I have heard of it, but don't have much knowledge about it. Can it be purchased in the US?
Any links to a site??
thanks again.

Getting authentic R-Magic **** is pretty pricey...and kinda hard to come by too..
Shineautoproject makes really great quality replicas of some R-Magic body parts.

Check their threads in the Group Buy section...

https://www.rx7club.com/shineautoproject-161/

Or at their Ebay store : http://stores.ebay.com/store=194475495

you can get original R-Magic kits through Takakaira (www.takakaira.com) but as has been said they are pricey. the site does show prices in Yen and US$ I have bought the odd thing through them and had it shipped to the UK (shipping is the killer though)

Well, I evidently have very expensive tastes when it comes to body kits.
I wonder if Shine has a discount if you purchase the entire kit as opposed to individual parts?
It figures I couldn't be happy w/ just a GPS knock off or something.
It just looks too cool to pass up. Any other kit just doesn't seem to visually match up to it now.
I don't think its RMagic though. The sideskirt isn't the same. It shows a flared rear edge on Shines site. And his back piece is rounded, and this one is perfectly flat.
So I think it is close, or maybe an earlier version or something. But not what Shine is reproducing. Or maybe Shine is not making an exact replica of the RMagic kit. However, if I can't find it, I may go w/ him anyhow. It's pretty close.
If anyone is positive about the origins of this kit, please share.
Or if anyone has any other pic's that may give a better clue to what this really is, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Thanks for the assistance.
I would still like to see pic's of this kit if anyone has them.
Thanks

If you want a good price on a GP style kit, check this out...
http://www.autornd.com/catalog/index...c8d53e6896cf30

400-600 bucks gets you a decent quality kit...

yeah, I might go w/ Shine for the sides and rear, and put on a Vanish front! It has the upward slant on the side. Could look very cool!

totally agree - it's hideous! - not to fond of the sides either, but the front rocks! Just couldn't put it together w/ another kit until now.

So Funkspectrum, this wasn't your car huh?
This has the 370 kit on it, and like you said, I always hated it until I saw it on this car.
Looks like factory the way this owner put it together.

Yeah, Sexy Style is a really nice design. I like how the front end cuts back toward the wheel versus the Vertex kit that goes straight down.
How much is he selling it for?

I believe $350 for the front, 250 for the sides and 350 for the rear...

well I guess that makes two of us! Not many on this side of the pond either.

I do like the R-Magic kits though, I was thinking of the widebody myself (once the engine work is finished later this year) but although the takakiara price isn't bad $2241 in Japan factor in shipping and taxes (we get screwed on that over here) and I'd be looking at over $3500 landed + fitting and respray!

yea...I'm not too fond of the front end of that R-Magic widebody.....the fenders are ok...but that front just rubs me the wrong way...

I personally like the Amemiya widebody much better....follows the factory lines...
