BNR stage II => BOV no worky?

i just put in my BNR stage II turbo today and it's great. i've replaced all gaskets and i've replaced all nipples and caps. everything is buttoned back up and for some reason now, my BOV is not opening like it should. the stock turbo setup made the BOV sound like a dump truck, now it's not even opening. i've cleaned it up and loosened the nut a little bit, should i have to loosen it up all the way?

i'm at a loss here, because it builds boost great, but i can hear/feel it surge when the bov is supposed to be working. any help would be much appreciated. thanks guys.

the blitz is a strange thing. it takes a lot of trial and error to get it to work perfectly. i would loosen it all the way and then work back to the compressor surge and back the nut off about a 1/4 turn. only adjust it a very small increments.

i loosened it up some more and it opens just a little bit, but it still surges. the sound of that brand new turbo surging makes me ill.

i just got through looking at some pics of other peoples BOV's and i've noticed quite a few are almost all the way out. is this sorta thing normal when you get an a bigger turbo? i'll keep you guys posted

A turbo itself doesn't make a BOV work. If there's boost, then vacuum, it should open. If it doesn't, there's not enough of one of those things.

vac reading at idle is ~-15lbs and it boost just fine. i adjusted the lock nut all the way out and it is venting now, but there is still a little bit of surging. what do i have to do at this point? i've never had this problem with my BOV untill i swapped the turbo.

Make sure your BOV is seeing vacuum from AFTER the throttle plates. If you have it sourcing before the plates, then it will almost never open up.
