this is also the route i will most likely be going, though i think these hybrids are rather pricey. any way you put it its still cheaper than a full on set up for the same desired power.

what injector sizes are required for stages 2, 3, and 4?

Go stage 2 and call it a day unless you're one of the HP junkies that wants over 400hp/500hp.

Last time I spoke with Bryan he said he had that setup on his 1st gen turbo (i think he said 1st gen turbo). If the man trusts it in his car then it's good enough for me. Stage 2 supposedly supports 15psi and up to 350whp. I have yet to install mine so I can't provide numbers yet.

I have a stage 2 in my T2. It is quiet, responds like stock and boost comes on strong really early. Just a great driving car.

Debating between a Stage 2 or a Stage 3 with high compression (9.7) rotors. Power and response are both equally as important. This would be for a raod course car. Which turbo would be best?

im guessing, based on the fact that 9.7 rotors is not very specific, that you are going to need to provide a little more info on what your goals and mods are....

Just a guess.

Me and my buddy were debating whether a stage 2 would run out of breath on a S5 medium level streetport.

I believe his goals are 300-350rwhp.

Any remarks on this?

Sorry, I should have been clear.

S4 TII block
S5 NA Rotors
Large Streetport
Upgraded TMIC (ARC or HKS) (There's a reason for TMIC instead of VMIC or FMIC)
APEX'i Power Intake Filter w/ Cold Air Box
RB REV TII Downpipe and Midpipe mated to a Greddy Power Extreme Catback
Rtek 2.1 (So there's going to be an AFM restriction)

The goal is 350 whp with the most response possible. If 400 whp is possible, that may make me change my mind.

Which turbo should I go with, the Stage 2 with the 360 thrust bearing and the Stage 3 with 360 thrust bearing? Is it possible to get the Stage 2 with a 35mm wastegate?

What would be the best with the AFM restriction? What would be the best with a MAP sensor? Does the AFM restriction even matter?

My boy here on the forum screen name drugblock is running a bnr stage 4 turbo with all the fixing's...

front mount ic
blow off
stage four turbo
550 injectors temp...
aeromotive fuel regulator
walbro fuel pump
micro tech
three inch down pipe
three inch exhaust all the way to the back

And probably pushing some where around around 250 maybe more give or take...huge improvement and for the street that is more then enough to **** around with...

He got the car on a deal he traded his vert for the turbo bnr fc with all the fixing's...I would have to say great deal...I say go for it...i was pretty impressed by it...

But don't just expect to slap on the BNR turbo and just go...your going to have to mod or upgrade a lot of parts in the engine bay get a good stand alone or piggy back...intercooler blah blah blah y-band so on so forth...

dude has a lot of tunning...he got the car on a trade and the car was in bad shape...it didn't have 550 when he got it...he had the original ones flow tested and the results were like 230 240cc flow rate...then he swaped in the 550's he has so much to fix on the car...but for an even trade and with all the car came with is not bad at all

I've had a hand in tuning a friend and ex-coworker of mines S5 stage 4 equipped T2 and it seemed laggier than I would have expected however peak power was very nice.

The stage 2 is best for road racing and autocross. The powerband starts to hit at 4K and seems linear until redline. It maxes out at 330-340 RWHP at 14- 15 psi of boost.

The stage 3 is an on-off switch. It hits so hard when it comes on that you will be out in the grass coming around a turn lol.
