BMW M52 swapped FC

Hey i have a FC swapped with an M52B28 out of an e36 i was wondering if it possible to re-gear the rear end to maybe something less aggressive than factory I believe i have 4:11s in mine currently and would like the motor to run more relaxed at higher speeds.

welcome to the board.

you will probably have to forage in the Miata world.

i think there is a 3.91 that you can get. not sure about year or model.

here is a link to Miata board where they are talking about a 3.63 - https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...f-cover-96957/

it depends on which differential you used.
if you used the Turbo 8" P type diff, i think there is only 4.1 and 4.3
if you used the NA 7" M type, there was a 3.9 in the automatic's

Thanks. Using the getrag transmission that came with the M52 I believe its the 240 or 260 and had a custom driveshaft made to adapt to the rx7 diff in the rear.
