Bluebook value i can offer tomorrow
I'm going to buy my rex tomorrow. This guy is my friend, but it kind of seems like hes gonna rip me off. This is what the car has
106K original miles, two exhaust tips(dont know what brand), aftermarket CD player
This is what it needs
Set of tires, aftermarket cd player mounting bracket, fan shroud, hood needs to be redone(lifts up on the interstate around 60mph....needs a bolt)
He's asking around $1850. What should i offer?
Im gonna say tires are gonna run me about 200$, 15$ for mounting, $5 for bolt and repair. Also if someone could read my other thread and help me with that, that would be nice.
Also when getting an inspection, does it cost to get diagnosics and stuff?
Sorry about all the ?'s
James

Some things that can get overlooked:
Check the wiper switch - all functions. It's expensive to replace.
Check the heat & AC - all functions.
Hold a fast idle ~3K for about a minute, then let it down & give it a short rev - Any smoke?
Brake & clutch fluid should be almost clear- no gray of black tint.
