BLUE TII gets a new ignition system!
I was having some ignition break-up ~7,000rpm (well, in 4th and 5th since since they still have traction at that rpm) so I decided I needed more ignition power.
I was afraid the ignition break-up was causing the AF to read rich and if I leaned it out there would be problems if the ignition system ever did work, plus if there is any power past 7,000rpm I want to be able to use it!
After reading KEITH's (and Irv's) and RICE RACING's testimonials about using 2 Crane Hi-6, 2 LX92 coils on the 2 leading spark plugs (BR10EIX) I decided to give it a try.
It didn't smooth my idle noticeably yet (but additional tuning may help w/ that). It did liven up the engine's acceleration/response and sure enough I was now lean, and not just upper rpms... Now, 3rd breaks traction easier accelerating @ ~ 6,000rpm
The two ignition amps are bolted to the bottom of the CF cooling panel. The Hi-6 heatsink tops are directly in the H-mount IC duct for awsome cooling.
I made a mounts for the coils out of alum and CF
Yeah, stock igniter looks funny w/ no coil. I will make a little cover for it later.

What kind of intercooler is that and is that the cf radiator panel from fc3s.org?
IC is a "small" Isuzu NPR cabover truck unit that I modified. I made the cooling panel.
did you ever get a hood made for that IC?
A fiberglass one is being made (I hope)...
I wish my car was badass
Looks like yours has potential to be a bad *** TII! My car is just basically a Halteched stock hybrid w/ "homemade" stuff on it.
