blown motor

I was driving my NA today down the road. It has 119,000 miles on it. The fuel injectors have been leaking cause the car has been flooding, and i start it with a fuel cutoff. Anyways, I was accelerating, wasnt beating on it at all, and i shifted into 3rd at about 3k rpm. the engine then shuddered, seemed to lose most of its power, and wouldnt idle. It seemed like it was running on one rotor. I can still start it up, and it moves when i put it into gear, but there is no power and it idles and revs like absolute ****. I didn't hear any noise or anything when it happened, it just suddenly lost power under acceleration. Do you think the engine is blown? Or possibly a fuel problem?

You can do a compression test with an ordinary gauge and see if both rotors are making compression. It does sound unusual to just pop a seal at 119K miles if you haven't really abused it.

yea it has been taken care of, i guess i will test compression. I just wanted to know if there was some other thing that could have gone wrong.

if it was flooding engine was probably full of carbon! possible a chunk of carbon came loose and broke an apex seal...... its happened before
