blown master or slave cylinder?

today i was drivin my s4 t2 with s5 jdm motor swap and my clutch got mushy... it has been doing this for a lil while like every week or 2 it eats clutch fluid and i put more in...but this time i thought that was happening so i went to put in clutch fluid.. so i put some in and was pumping clutch and saw a puddle of clutch fluid on bottom of car... as i was pumping clutch it was just coming out... i would push and it didnt get stiffer and it just kept eating fluid every time i pumped it... wats that problem? is the master or slave cylinder blown.. it was leaking clutch fluid it looked somewhere by transmission i didnt have jack so i couldnt see... so not for sure.

Doesn't matter.

If one leaks or has bad seals, chances are that the other is in almost the same condition.

Replace both and the soft hose (if it has not been already replaced).

Otherwise, you will just be replacing the either the slave or the master soon anyway even if you don't do it now.

Either way, I'd just replace everything. You can get a new master and slave cylinder from mazdatrix, along with a nice steel braided clutch line. Installation is quick and easy, and all the parts will cost around $120.
