blown engine
the whole engine needs to be taken apart and inspected, that is the only way to determine what parts are reusable and what needs to be replaced. If you are lucky you can reuse housings, rotors, etc. If not and the damage is extensive you might need to replace rotor and housind. In both cases you need rebuild kit. They go for around $900, if you're lucky and know some engine builders you might score one for $600.
if your water seal goes...usually you gotta replace both rotors and housings.
if an apex goes..and tears the hell out of the housing/scores the rotor, flies out the exhaust port, and damages the turbine..you gotta replace that too.
