Blown coolant seal - rebuild?
I am all but positive I have a bad coolant seal. Smokes like crazy, coolant level drops really fast, hardly starts, overheated resently.
Does this mean I have to rebuild it completely, or can can I just do the coolant seals, or is that about the same thing.
Not sure if I could do it myself, so what should I do? Can't really afford a rebuild right now..

if you're broke you can call kwikway and buy some irontite ceramic seal. if you do follow the instructions VERBATIM.
I had a S5 T2 that's e-fan took a dump in the summer. After that it would eat about a gallon of coolant every 10 miles. So I put that stuff in and it fixed it. It's been running for over a year now and beaten on every day. That stuff will coat your entire cooling system and could even possibly damage your waterpump so be warned. I'm not too sure on how it would effect a rebuild either.
